Wolds Way Lavender

I visited the site on 5th April 09 just before Easter 2009 and although it was open to the public the trains weren't running. The track would need some fettling before being used again. Interesting mixed use line with tripper runs in the summer and lavender harvesting in the autumn.

Posted pictures cover stock and setting to provide ideas for using this this line as basis for a micro' layout.

Would I go again? If the railway was running yes. However I had also visited the Lavender Farm nearby at Terrington the day before as my mother was searching for garden plants, and for just a visit as a day out the Terrrington site wins hands down.
